Commitment period
A stretch of time you set yourself, hard to walk back. Early release has exactly two known routes: your partner's approval, or support.
Accountability partner
You invite someone you trust and they accept themselves — nothing about you reaches them before they do. They're told if protection is switched off, and asked before you disable a feature. And they can step away whenever they like, without your permission.
Deletion guard
Uninstalling Irada itself goes through device admin, so it can't be a decision made in a flash of temper.
Daily time budget
Give each app a share of your day — ninety minutes, say — and when it runs out the app closes until tomorrow. Not a wall; a ceiling you set.
Emergency pause
Lifts the blocking when you genuinely need it — ten minutes, or a stretch you choose — then restores itself without you having to remember.
New apps
Anything installed after protection is on is blocked by default, until you allow it yourself.
Focus timer
Rounds of work and rest, with the clock running in front of you. A small tool, but it gets you out of “I'll start in a minute”.
Counter and challenge
Set how many days you're challenging yourself and it keeps count. And if you started before the app, set your real date — don't begin again at zero.
Your writing is kept
Your journal and goals are backed up to your account, so a new phone doesn't cost you them. And you delete your account yourself from inside the app, immediately — no email, no waiting.

Denying yourself something is easier than putting something in its place. These work between you and yourself — they block nothing, watch nothing, and your partner never sees them.

Two lines about your day. Two weeks later you read them back and see what the moment hides: when you weaken, and after what.
Alternatives wheel
When the pull is there and you don't know what to do with yourself, spin it and it offers one small thing instead. Because “don't” on its own isn't enough.

Goals with dates, and daily habits you tick off. Deliberately small — habits are built by repetition, not heroics.
Habit swap

What we don't collect
No browsing history, no location, no device identifier, no contacts, no screenshots. We don't sell your data and we don't run ads.
And your partner accepts first
Nothing about you reaches your accountability partner until they accept the invitation themselves. And they can withdraw whenever they like, without your permission — from a link at the foot of every message they get.

What we don't promise
No Android app can stop you outright. Irada builds strong friction, not an unbreakable wall — and we say so before you install, not after.
- A factory reset can't be prevented. We show a warning and tell your partner. That is the whole of what we can do.
- Protection can be switched off from your device settings. We tell you and we tell your partner — we don't trap you inside a settings screen.
- And no ordinary Android app can disable the home button. Leave the blocking screen and it brings you back — you'll see a flash of your home screen on the way. That's the platform's limit, not a gap in us.
What people ask before installing
What exactly does my partner see?
The kind of event and its time — “protection was switched off”, “request to disable a feature”. Not what you browse, not which apps you open, not your location, and no screenshots.
How does it block without contacting a server?
It reads what's displayed inside the apps you chose, compares it with your list, and discards what it read. The comparison happens entirely on the device: nothing passes through our servers or anyone else's, your location doesn't change, and it doesn't touch your data plan.
Can the protection be bypassed?
Yes, to a degree. Protection can be turned off in device settings, and a factory reset can't be prevented. What Irada does is make going around it a deliberate, drawn-out act — and tell your partner it happened. The friction is the product, not a wall.
What's in “My journey”?
Tools that work between you and yourself, with no blocking in them: daily writing, goals, tasks and habits, an alternatives wheel for when the pull is there, a letter you write to your future self, and a setback log you read later to find the pattern rather than the moment.
What if my partner wants out?
They leave whenever they like, without your permission and with no waiting period, from a link at the foot of every message they receive. And you're told — because your protection keeps running, but it runs unwitnessed, and you have a right to know.
Which languages does it speak?
Six: Arabic, English, Urdu, French, Spanish and Turkish. Arabic and Urdu are laid out right-to-left from the ground up, not translated over a left-to-right design.
Does it slow the phone down or drain the battery?
Screen reading is limited to the apps you chose, and nothing leaves the device. The cost is in line with any app running in the background.
What happens when my subscription ends?
We will never hold your phone hostage for payment. The free features keep working, and you can switch protection off or uninstall at any time.
